Whitney Houston: the first Noel

E’ un periodo molto doloroso questo e sembra che il destino se la sia presa un pò con i musicisti o, meglio, con i più grandi artisti che il mondo conosca. Ha iniziato questa girandola infernale questa estate Amy Winehouse che con i suoi 27 anni e una voce incredibile aveva davvero tanto da raccontare. Non è riuscita però a sopravvivere ai suoi demoni e ad una probabile tremenda solitudine e ci ha lasciato solo pezzi diventati capolavori grazie al suo virtuosismo mai esagerato.

Qualche settimana fa, il dolore è stato grande invece per la perdita di Whitney Houston, mentre in queste ore se ne è andato l’italianissimo Lucio Dalla. Ritorniamo a Whitney, quindi, e ricordiamola in una magistrale interpretazione di un testo di Natale: the first Noel. Di lei ovviamente i successi non si contano più e come dimenticare All at Once, Run to You e persino I will always love you. Era e resterà una colonna portante della musica mondiale per sempre:
